From the time we first opened our doors in 1975 as the first hospital in Plano, The Medical Center of Plano began to evolve into much more than a community hospital.
We've steadily expanded our staff, continuously upgraded our facilities and gradually increased our capabilities. And today, we're proud to be recognized as one of the more progressive medical institutions in North Texas.
Our main campus in the heart of Plano includes the main hospital and medical offices, an outpatient surgery center, a comprehensive cancer-treatment center, an emergency trauma center, a radiology/imaging center, an MRI BrainSUITE, a comprehensive cardiovascular program, the Center for Lifestyle Enhancement and complete women's and children's services. We have achieved Magnet Recognition by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and we are a Pathway to Excellence organization (formerly the Texas Nurses Association Nurse Friendly designation).
